"Navygrey's classic cardigan is an easy style to wear"
Financial Times

New for autumn, our best-selling cardigan now in our much-loved Storm Grey hue. In homage to the cardigan worn daily by Founder Rachel's grandpa. Hitting that sweet spot of being classic, modern and utterly timeless all at the same time, our cardigan really is that 'take me anywhere' piece. Knitted in our signature soft 100% traceable Scottish-spun Lamb's wool, made in Scotland and finished with sustainably-sourced Mother of Pearl buttons.

We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit. That's why we started a club. A Wash Less, Air More Club. We'd love you to join us.

To help manage any pilling, add a complimentary wool comb at checkout.

Designed for traditionalists, spun with a touch of luxury

Inspired by the one worn daily by our founder's grandfather, our made in Scotland cardigan has a horizontal button placket, matching ribbed cuffs, hem and two excellent pockets.

Designed to sit at the hip, it's the V-neck, patch pockets and boxier cut that makes this a flattering and versatile style. That just right layering piece all year round.

Button up completely for a jumper take on the cardigan, or layer over your favourite blouses and tops.

100% luxurious, Scottish-spun traceable wool

Made from 100% Superfine Lamb's Wool that is sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa. With a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lambs Wools. (Most average 21-24 microns).

The wool arrives in Scotland by boat where it is spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills which has been spinning yarn for 150+ years.

85% of the dyes used by Todd & Duncan are organic and the water used for washing and dyeing the wool is cleaned and purified before being returned to Loch Leven to be used again. It is a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the loch.

The yarn is then sent to Hawick in Scotland where our team knit and hand-finish each cardigan. Due to the fully-fashioned knitting technique we employ and as we produce in small batches, there is very little yarn wastage.

The cardigans are finished with sustainably-sourced Mother of Pearl buttons, organic cotton care labels and sealed in linen bags.
