On the banks of Loch Leven
Our superfine wool arrives in Scotland by boat once a year, sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa. Responsible Wool Certified.
The wool has a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lambs Wools (most average 21-24 microns).
The wool arrives in Scotland, where it is spun and dyed on the banks Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills. They use a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the Loch.
Pick a stripe
We’ve mixed and matched the Navygrey palette to create stripey combinations for you to love. Add a subtle Espresso stripe to your knit or choose a fresh creamy Lait and Ice white for Spring.
The knitty-gritty
What are the press saying?
"Navygrey's new OVERSIZE is reminiscent of Phoebe Philo-era Celine, with reassuring weight and density." FT Weekend.
What are the pieces made out of?
The OVERSIZE is made out of 100% Scottish-spun Lambswool. Each piece is knitted into a luxurious 3 gauge, with 4ply wool yarn creating a soft and chunky jumper for maximum warmth.
What is the recommendations on sizing and fit?
The OVERSIZE is a thicker-weight knit that drapes rather than grips, designed to be oversized without needing to size up. We recommend you take your usual size.
If you are wanting a more exaggerated oversized look we recommend sizing up. But please note that wool does stretch a little with wear and gravity.
If you’re a size 10UK a size S will be perfect, and a size M is perfect if you’re a size 12UK. If you’re a size 14UK, an M will fit, but if you’re noticeably broader or E+ bra size, you might wish to size up to an L for a little more wiggle room across the bust.
If you are narrow shouldered, we do not recommend sizing up, due to the nature of the drop sleeve.
