There's real substance and authenticity to our BRETON JERSEY fabric - a sweet spot between a jumper and a t-shirt - weighty but not too much. Taking the traditional Breton shape - slightly tapered arms and just off-the-shoulder seams - we've tweaked the fit to ensure it retains a nostalgic silhouette yet is distinctively modern and easy with a feminine edge. A relaxed fit with a small side split at the hem and a wide crisp flattering neckline.

While it was demanded that a 'true' French navy uniform Breton have 21 stripes in 1858 to mark each of Napoleon's victories, we've adjusted that to 20 - to ensure the spacing between the stripes delivers a flattering, effortlessly-finished look.
