Nature's finest
Getting out in nature - we all know that it can improve your mood, make you feel relaxed and generally feel better about everything.
So when it comes to what you put on your skin too, we believe that keeping things natural is best.
Garments from the ground up.
Clothing, just as nature intended. Wool, Cotton, Linen.
Because when it comes to knits, cotton sweats and tees, nature is really where its at.
Yes we know that it can get more complicated when it comes to things like technical outerwear and sportswear, but for garments like ours, that you wear right next to your skin, nature really is best.
What's inside?
If we call a jumper a wool jumper. It really is just that, a wool jumper. 100% Wool.
We'll always tell you the exact ingredients - and the fewer of those, the better. But more than that, we won't dress up the contents of our garments with a snazzy trademarked name to take away from the reality of what's inside.
We're committed to speaking plainly and clearly. Because good clothes, created with great ingredients and made by even greater skilled modern artisans, need to be celebrated.
And we're lucky to work with some of the best.
FIRST LOVE: WOOL
The fibre that keeps you coming back for more
Every year, sheep grow wool continuously to shield them from the weather. Once a year, usually around spring, most need to be shorn to keep them cool as well as reduce risk of parasitic infestation, disease and getting stuck on their backs. This natural, cyclical process means that every year, there's fresh natural wool, with remarkable properties, that needs to find a new home. And that's where we come in.
'Transparency triumphs in this brand story'
The Daily Telegraph
Certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS). A soft lamb's wool which originates in Australia and South Africa that is then washed, spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven, Scotland with the prestigious spinner Todd & Duncan who have been working with yarns for over 150 years.
We make all of our CORE collection in the British Isles from this 100% wool yarn. From Loch Leven, the wool travels to Hawick in Scotland, London and Nottinghamshire where our knitters are based.
We work with Lanecardate who purchase the greasy wool directly from Australia and South Africa. Certified by the Responsible Wool Standard, the wool is washed, dyed and spun all in Italy - where it is turned into an incredibly fine and soft wool yarn.
We use this wool in our lighter-weight pieces like the WEEKEND due to its beautiful loftiness and smoothness against the skin.
25% Masham
75% Bluefaced Leicester (BFL)
Created in partnership with British Wool. Two un-dyed, natural colours, Umber & Oat.
30% Cheviot Wool
70% Bluefaced Leicester

Laxtons Yarns
Knitwear created with yarns developed by the leading spinner Laxtons in Yorkshire. A hearty blend of Masham and Bluefaced Leicester. In this yarn, there is more Masham wool than our own 'The Masham' - creating a sturdier hand feel.
Real Shetland Wool
Real Shetland Wool from the sheep that graze on the Shetland Islands, Scotland. An authentic yarn, combined with designs that pay homage to the true Fair Isle. We have been working with a leading Fair Isle designer living in the Shetlands, to bring these pieces to life.
