This piece, crafted from our own yarn - 100% Locally-Grown British Wool is more fibrous and edgy than our Scottish-spun wool.

So while this wool has an inherent softness, it does have a little more kick to it than our smoother Scottish-spun yarn.

If you've tried the previous MAREE or FIELD pieces, this is very similar.

It's hard to explain, but there's something very special about this brilliant textured British wool fibre. It feels proper, something your grandparents would have worn. And a knit of which they would heartily have approved.

Slip a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, and this will keep you warm, day and night.

Knitted in a chunky 3gg, this knit will keep you wrapped up and super warm as the temperature drops.

This knit is made from our own 100% Locally-Grown British Wool Yarn.

30% Cheviot Wool, sourced mainly from farms in Aberdeenshire and the Orkneys. A sheep known for it's soft, resilient and durable fleece and 70% Bluefaced Leicester, which is one of the finest, most distinct breeds in the UK and considered one of the softest wools in the British Isles.

Spun and dyed in Yorkshire, and knitted and hand-finished in Scotland.

Less is best. Caring for 100% natural wool knitwear doesn't have to be complicated, we promise.

WASH LESS, AIR MORE
We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.
