With our signature horizontal placket, bespoke British-made Corozo nut buttons, and 100% of the softest, finest Scottish-spun wool, this new cardigan silhouette is made to last.

A classic subtly oversized shorter in length Cardigan. With a v-neck fine ribbed placket. Wear buttoned-up or undone. This is the longer version of our original CARDIGAN.

Take your usual size for a fit as shown in the images. See the Size & Fit Guide above for more information.

This is our softest wool. It's a sweet spot of real softness with substance. Warming and structured, this knit is in a mid-weight gauge. It's the purity of the Scottish water used throughout the spinning process that makes this wool feel so smooth and soft.

WASH LESS, AIR MORE
We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.

A button-up hero

Inspired by our original CARDIGAN - based on the one worn by our founder,  Rachel's grandfather, our latest shorter-in-length knit is a new addition to our cardigan clan.

With our horizontal button placket, matching ribbed cuffs and two patch pockets, whether lounging or dressed up with wide-legged denim, this is a modern shape, effortlessly chic for all occasions.

Knitted in a mid-weight gauge, the CARDIGAN 3.0 can be layered over t-shirts, blouses or buttoned-up jumper-style.

Made in Scotland by the some of the finest knitters in the world

100% luxurious, Scottish-spun traceable wool

Made from 100% Superfine Lamb's Wool that is sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa. With a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lambs Wools. (Most average 21-24 microns).

The wool arrives in Scotland by boat where it is spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills which has been spinning yarn for 150+ years.

85% of the dyes used by Todd & Duncan are organic and the water used for washing and dyeing the wool is cleaned and purified before being returned to Loch Leven to be used again. It is a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the loch.

The yarn is then sent to Hawick in Scotland where our team knit and hand-finish each cardigan. Due to the fully-fashioned knitting technique we employ and as we produce in small batches, there is very little yarn wastage.
