"Navygrey's new OVERSIZE is reminiscent of Phoebe Philo-era Celine, with reassuring weight and density."
FT Weekend

We've taken our signature OVERSIZE shape in Navy and added a stripe in a rich shade of Espresso - a deliciously chic and subtle combination. The OVERSIZE is our chunky and sumptuous knit made in the British Isles from 100% Responsible Wool Certified wool spun in Scotland. It's a luxurious, cocooning shape, with a subtle drop shoulder.

A classic oversize crew shape. Cocooning with a subtle drop shoulder. Chunky & warming.

Take your usual size for a fit as shown in the images. See the Size & Fit Guide above for more information.

This is our softest wool. It's a sweet spot of real softness with substance. Warming and structured, this knit is in a chunkier-weight gauge. It's the purity of the Scottish water used throughout the spinning process that makes this wool feel so smooth and soft.

Transparent, Natural, Certified.

Less is best. Caring for 100% natural wool knitwear doesn't have to be complicated, we promise.

WASH LESS, AIR MORE
We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.

Each knit comes with its own organic cotton storage bag and is shipped in boxes made from post-consumer waste in the UK.

The Design

The beautiful quality of this British-made knit, can be seen in every stitch. Whether paired with trousers, skirts or dresses, it works every time.

The subtle dropped sleeve with a hem that drapes rather than grips, and that 'just right' level of slouch and signature rib crew neck, ensures that the OVERSIZE is that effortless easy knit we crave at this time of year.

Knitted in a chunky 3 gauge, with 4ply wool yarn and fully-fashioned - where each piece of the jumper is knitted separately and then linked together by hand and hand-finished. This means that not only is this knit of the highest quality, but that also there is minimal, often zero, waste.

The jumpers are finished with organic cotton labels.

The finest Scottish-spun wool

Our superfine wool arrives in Scotland by boat once a year, sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa.

With a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lambs Wools. (Most average 21-24 microns). We have knitted this style into a luxurious 3 gauge jumper.

The wool arrives in Scotland by boat where it is spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills which has been spinning yarn for 150+ years.

85% of the dyes used by Todd & Duncan are organic and the water used for washing and dyeing the wool is cleaned and purified before being returned to Loch Leven to be used again. It is a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the loch.
