This piece, crafted from 100% Shetland Wool is more fibrous and edgy than our Scottish-spun wool.

So while this wool has an inherent softness, it does have a little more kick to it than our smoother Scottish-spun yarn.

The finished garment is gently brushed in Scotland to raise a soft, subtle texture - the brushing enhances the warmth of the wool by gently deflecting wind, while making the fabric feel even softer against the skin.

We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.
