"Jumper cut heaven. Comfortable and classic. "
VOGUE

Where our story begins - the RELAXED is the jumper that started it all. Inspired by a 20-year-old navy sweater, recreated for today. The RELAXED has a subtly oversized silhouette with double-folded rib trim at the neck, epitomising easy, effortless everyday style. Made in the British Isles from 100% Scottish-spun certified Lamb's wool - in a new striped colourway - Navy & Atlantic Blue.

A classic relaxed, subtly oversized crew neck. With a dropped sleeve and an elegant double folded rib neck.

Take your usual size for a fit as shown in the images. See the Size & Fit Guide above for more information.

This is our softest wool. It's a sweet spot of real softness with substance. Warming yet lofty despite its mid-weight gauge.

It's the purity of the Scottish water used throughout the spinning process that makes this wool feel so smooth and soft.

WASH LESS, AIR MORE
We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.

The Design

Our signature RELAXED style in navy is where our journey began.

Made in London, the quiet perfection of this classic, subtly oversized navy jumper cannot be disputed. Crafted from impeccable and fully traceable Scottish spun Lamb's Wool, this style is fully-fashioned in a mid-weight 7gg knit and finished by hand at our London factory.

Designed for an unstudied easy fit, anchored with a slightly deeper rib neck trim to balance out the proportions of the jumper, this is an enduring wardrobe classic.

Pair with vintage denim for a timeless look that doesn't date.

The Provenance

This jumper is made from 100% Superfine Lamb's Wool that is sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa.

With a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lamb's Wools. (Most average 21-24 microns). We have knitted this style into a luxurious mid-weight 7 gauge jumper.

The wool arrives in Scotland by boat once a year where it is spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills which has been spinning yarn for 150+ years.

85% of the dyes used by Todd & Duncan are organic and the water used for washing and dyeing the wool is cleaned and purified before being returned to Loch Leven to be used again. It is a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the loch.

The yarn is then sent to our London factory where our team knit and hand-finish each jumper. Due to the fully-fashioned knitting technique we employ and as we produce in small batches, there is very little yarn wastage.
