CHEVIOT 01 - launching 08.10.24. Our jacket-esque, collared cardigan silhouette. Part of a six piece collection crafted from our very own 100% Locally-Grown Wool yarn - made from a blend of British Cheviot and Bluefaced Leicester Wool. A refined reinterpretation of traditional Aran jumpers, tweaked into a modern day cardigan shape, that's easy, cool and elevated all at the same time. Finished with five British-made Corozo buttons.

A chunky collared cardigan shape. With a neater fit and slighter shorter in the body, with an elegant structured raglan sleeve.

Take your usual size for a fit as shown in the images. See the Size & Fit Guide above for more information.

This piece, crafted from our own yarn - 100% Locally-Grown British Wool is more fibrous and edgy than our Scottish-spun wool.

So while this wool has an inherent softness, it does have a little more kick to it than our smoother Scottish-spun yarn.

It's hard to explain, but there's something very special about this brilliant textured British wool fibre that has a real connection to British farmland. It feels proper, something your grandparents would have worn. And a knit of which they would heartily have approved.

Slip a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, and this will keep you warm, day and night.

WASH LESS, AIR MORE
We recommend airing as the best way to look after your knit, with a hand wash in a basin (step away from the machine) every now and then. Read more about washing less and airing more. We believe in it so much that we even started a club.

MANAGING PILLING
Soft fibres are liable to pill to some extent, even when it's the best wools in the world. We recommend gently removing them with this specialist fabric shaver. It really is a game changer for keeping your knits in tip top condition.

Each knit comes with its own organic cotton storage bag and is shipped in boxes made from post-consumer waste in the UK.

The Details

The combination of the heritage stitch, with the substance of the British Wool creates a true British cardigan to love.

Inspired by the Aran sweaters worn by fisherman off the coast of Ireland, this 'shifting sand' cable knit stitch cardigan gives a structure and refined polish that's so wearable - dressed up or down.

Each piece is fully-fashioned - where each piece of the cardigan is knitted separately and then linked together by hand and hand-finished.
