We've combined our best-selling RELAXED shape with this beautiful textured wool sourced from British farms. The result - from fibre to FIELD CREW in just 145 miles. Lighter in weight than our British Stripe, this textured 8gg knit has an almost alpaca/mohair feel, giving it a little edge that is 100% British. An easy boyfriend-fit with a relaxed dropped sleeve, it has that effortlessness that we know you look for in a great knit. This is hearty British heritage wool meets impeccable modern style.
As this is a fine yet more textured British wool, its fibrous quality (a bit like mohair/alpaca) means that you will notice some loose fibres springing up from time to time. This is the natural behaviour of the yarn and to be expected.

This jumper comes in its own linen bag and is shipped in 100% recycled cardboard boxes made from post-consumer waste in the UK.

A little classic, a little cool, and very British
The FIELD CREW is a culmination of over a year's work, as we sought to bring all that you love about our RELAXED and combine it with this unique textured yarn.
Easy to wear, with just the right amount of slouch, the drop sleeve and length is very similar to our best-selling RELAXED, we've just tweaked the rib cuff (it’s a tad tighter) and neck to compliment the nature of this British yarn.
The textured, slightly more rustic wool has an almost alpaca/mohair feel, giving this jumper a bit of an edge. It's not as smooth as our original RELAXED, this has a little more of a wispy kick - but slip on something under it and you're all set.
Pair with wide-leg denim and skirts for modern elegance meets the ultimate in sustainability.

The FIELD CREW is a testimony to the success and sheer joy of working with a local product, local people and local purpose.
100% British, made within a radius of 145 miles from fibre to finished jumper.
More fibrous and edgy than our Scottish-spun wool, there’s something very special about wearing this brilliant textured British wool that has a real connection to British farmland.
With wool sourced exclusively from farms here in the UK - made from a blend of Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool, the fibre heads to the mill in Laxtons in Yorkshire. It is here that this great British mill spins the wool into yarn - from fleece to fibre in just 50 miles.
The wool then travels by road to Nottinghamshire where it is knitted.
It is an honour to play a small part in helping to revive a real love for British wool, by creating a jumper that we believe you'll love for years to come.
