The Design
Our signature style, the RELAXED is made from impeccable and fully-traceable Scottish spun Lamb's Wool and knitted in London. Fully-fashioned in a mid-weight 7gg knit, each piece is finished and checked by hand.
Designed for an unstudied easy fit, this jumper has both ease and elegance, with classic round crew neckline that's anchored with a slightly deeper rib neck trim to ensure the piece has perfectly balanced proportions.
With a moderately dropped sleeves, the jumper has slightly longer arms than a standard-fit jumper to give it that relaxed slouch, but the tension of the rib cuff is such that it can easily be pushed up. Beautifully pragmatic, pair with denim, khaki or crisp white jeans for off-duty ease.
Each piece is fully-fashioned - where each piece of the cardigan is knitted separately and then linked together by hand and hand-finished. This means that not only is this knit of the highest quality, but that also there is minimal, often zero, waste.
The jumpers are finished with organic cotton care labels and sealed in organic cotton bags.
The finest Scottish-spun wool
This jumper is made from 100% Superfine Lamb's Wool that is sourced from a special breed of sheep in South Africa.
With a fibre diameter of c. 18.5 microns, it is one of the world's finest and softest Lamb's Wools. (Most average 21-24 microns). We have knitted this style into a luxurious mid-weight 7 gauge jumper.
The wool arrives in Scotland by boat once a year where it is spun and dyed on the banks of Loch Leven in Kinross by Todd & Duncan, one of the finest Scottish Mills which has been spinning yarn for 150+ years.
85% of the dyes used by Todd & Duncan are organic and the water used for washing and dyeing the wool is cleaned and purified before being returned to Loch Leven to be used again. It is a pioneering and cyclical process that helps to protect the environment in and around the loch.
