Made from 100% Italian-spun superfine traceable Merino that will soften with each wear. With buttons crafted in England from the Corozo nut, this is that easy effortless knit we crave, in a 'just-right' weight and thickness for spring.
Our 12gg knits are hard-working classics. Due to being lighter-weight, they are low pilling and the wool softens further over time with wear.
Being 100% superfine wool, it means this knit requires very little, if any washing as the wool is naturally antibacterial. The wool is un-treated - meaning that we have kept this wool as natural as possible, so if you do wish to wash it, it must be done so by hand. A lot of machine-washable wool knits have been chemically treated to become machine washable, and this is something we wish to avoid.

Easy and effortless
Knitted in a lighter-weight 10gg knit, with a flattering round neck and a hem that is designed to drape and not grip.
A loose relaxed fit with a slightly wider body, to give the cardigan its elevated, minimal finish, there is no separate traditional placket - so the buttons blend seamlessly with the rest of the knit.
Knitted in a lighter-weight 10 gauge, it means there's enough warmth for cool spring days as well as a wonderful softness so you can wear it on its own.

100% traceable Italian-spun Merino
Crafted from 100% Italian-spun Merino yarn and knitted in a lighter 10 gauge knit at our small factory in Portugal.
This yarn is woollen-spun, giving the cardigan its lofty softness. The wool is fully traceable back to the farms, mulesing-free and certified by Woolmark.
The buttons are made from the Corozo nut, here in the UK. They are derived from the Tagua Palm which grows in the equatorial rainforests of central America. Reputedly, the best comes from Ecuador – which is where these buttons come from.
What's really wonderful about these buttons is that there is no human harvesting or cutting of any part of the tree where they grow, as the nuts naturally fall from the tree when ripe. So Corozo buttons not only ‘grow’ on trees, but they ‘fall’ from trees, too.
